Basketball Recap: Agawam Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Agawam hadn't done well against Taconic recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Agawam Brownies secured a 49-43 W over the Taconic Thunder. This was a revenge game for the Brownies: when they faced off against the Thunder back in January, they had to take a 69-62 defeat.

Agawam pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Taconic, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 13-3.

Agawam wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 66-49 win against Belchertown on the 3rd. Taconic has also already played their next match (against Wahconah Regional), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
