Tyson Hess had a dynamite game for Norwayne, going 7 of 11 on his way to 18 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. Hess' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Metsker, who posted eight points along with ten assists and seven steals.
Norwayne was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January.
Meanwhile, Northwest was able to grind out a solid win over Manchester on Friday, taking the game 78-65.
Northwest's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 20.2 points. As for Norwayne, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
