Leo scaled the state rankings by moving to 105 from 151 this week, the biggest jump in Chicago Catholic - Red. The Lions climbed the ranks as a result of besting Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley 36-0.
Leo took down the Falcons 36-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Latrell Giles threw for 142 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 43 yards during the win.
Michael Holmes' team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Michael Conley contributed 65 yards. Solomon Jones helped Leo's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 40 yards.
Riley McClendon-Gray was the best wideout in the league this week as the Lions topped Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley. McClendon-Gray racked up 3 receptions for 42 yards. Jones helped Leo's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 40 yards.
Leo's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Lions feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Giles has thrown for 1,364 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while McClendon-Gray has 29 catches for 512 yards.
Leo led the league in scoring this week after putting up 36 points on Mike Allen's team. Giles ran for 43 yards in the win.
