Basketball Recap: Jefferson Extends Winning Streak to Three

Jefferson entered their tilt with St. Labre Indian Catholic on Wednesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 53-40 victory over the St. Labre Indian Catholic Braves. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 54-47 win the Braves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2015.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jefferson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Wyatt Geier, who posted 14 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Hunter Stevens, who put up 12 points in addition to seven assists and seven rebounds.

Jefferson was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. They are 12-6 when they've passed the ball that well.

Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for St. Labre Indian Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Jefferson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 54-38 defeat against Columbus on the 6th. As for St. Labre Indian Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-55 win against Joliet on the 6th.
