Keidrien Wadley and Osh-Shakkur Derrick provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Canton. The connection was good for 75 yards, the longest such play in 3A Region II District 10 this season.
Ranchview moved up to 696 from 934 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. A 45-24 win over the Wolves helped the Wolves improve their standing.
Ranchview's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Wadley threw for 234 yards and Derrick had 108 yards receiving. On the ground Raghib Ismail chipped in 81 yards. Ismail helped Ranchview's passing attack out by catching three balls for 49 yards.
Ranchview's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Wolves feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Wadley has thrown for 509 yards and one touchdown this season, while Nick Burns has 10 catches for 153 yards. Derrick leads the league in rushing with 232 yards.
Lone Star extended the longest winning streak in 3A Region II District 10 this week by beating Van Alstyne, 56-21. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
