Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pelham Memorial). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Rye Neck Panthers 42-6. Given the Pelicans' advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 220th, while the Panthers are ranked 524th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pelham Memorial is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Rye Neck, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
