Baruch College were the 50-41 winner over Clinton School when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Baruch College fell 64-52 to Clinton School on Friday. It was the first time this season that Baruch College let down their fans at home.
Clinton School's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kate Stanley, who scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaya Kelly, who scored 25 points.
Baruch College's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-2. As for Clinton School, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-5.
Baruch College will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bard at 4:30 p.m. on January 30th. As for Clinton School, they will head out on the road to square off against Achievement First at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Achievement First is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
