Forestview (Gastonia, N.C.) put up seven points in the fourth quarter in Saturday's game to seal their 42-20 victory over
Hibriten (Lenoir, N.C.).
After taking the lead on a
Logan Bradley touchdown pass to
Mykelti Armstrong in the second quarter, the Jaguars were up 14-7 at the half.
Forestview grew its lead to 19 points entering the fourth quarter. FHS scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown run.
The loss snapped Hibriten's four-game winning streak.
The defeat comes as a step back for Hibriten, who notched a 28-18 victory over Pisgah in its previous outing. With the win the Gastonia school extended its winning streak to four games.
