After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against White Plains, Brewbaker Tech was happy to have turned things around  on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by  a  17-7 margin over the Wellborn Panthers. The  win was some much needed relief for the Rams as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

 Brewbaker Tech let  Chris Lewis and  Michael Woody run wild. Lewis  scored four  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances, while  Woody  went 2-for-4 with five  RBI and one  run. Lewis has become a key player for Brewbaker Tech: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 2-13 otherwise.  Miles Williams also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen base of the season.
Brewbaker Tech's victory bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Wellborn,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-11.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brewbaker Tech will welcome Bullock County  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Bullock County has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.57  runs per game on average), something Brewbaker Tech will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Wellborn, they will challenge Gaston at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
