With a playoff game on the line, the Liberty Christian Warriors rose to the challenge on Saturday. They blew past the Saints, posting a 45-17 win on the road. The win was just business as usual for Liberty Christian, who after 13 games remain undefeated this season.
Cole Welliver was his usual excellent self, throwing for 297 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt. Another player making a difference was Quinton Brown, who picked up 91 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Liberty Christian's defense and their five sacks. Mac Saul was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up three sacks himself.
Despite the loss, All S still got an impressive performance from Kelden Ryan, who rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 196 yards and a touchdown while completing 77.8% of his passes.
Liberty Christian's victory bumped their record up to 13-0. As for All S, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
Liberty Christian will look to defend their home field on Friday against Regents at 7:00 p.m. Regents is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. All S does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
