Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Daniel Loza, who went 6 of 9 from beyond the arc on his way to 22 points. His afternoon made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Frank Fregoso, who posted six points along with seven assists and six boards.
Meanwhile, Elgin ended up a good deal behind Shepard on Friday and lost 60-45. The Maroons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lake View now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Elgin, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.
