Garrett Ace Turns in Season-Best Performance
La Jolla Country Day was led to victory by Garrett Ace, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Ace rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 93 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 80 yards.
This season, Ace has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 26.4 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one receiving touchdown.

A Season-Best Performance from Magnus Falkiewicz Leads Santa Fe Christian over Army-Navy
Magnus Falkiewicz produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Santa Fe Christian to the win on Friday. Falkiewicz rushed for 96 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 66 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The win was the fifth in a row for Santa Fe Christian, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Falkiewicz and Santa Fe Christian have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Pj Rogers Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Pj Rogers produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Santa Fe Christian to the win on Friday. Rogers rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the season, Rogers has run in 2 touchdowns while averaging 46.7 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 25.71 rushing yards per game.

Army-Navy was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Jacob Eastley did his best to prevent it. Despite the defeat, Eastley was still balling out as he picked up 118 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Army-Navy's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2. They and Victory Christian Academy are set to duel on Friday.
