The Eisenhower Eagles will challenge the Rialto Knights at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Eisenhower is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.
Back in March, Eisenhower was able to grind out a solid win over San Gorgonio, taking the game 7-4.

Jenna Vallin made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and not a single walk). Those hits were her first of the season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Eisenhower got a big performance out of Milani Paige, who went 3-for-5 with two runs and one triple. That triple was Paige's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Monica Esparza, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Eisenhower always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .537. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as San Gorgonio only posted an OBP of .200.
Meanwhile, Rialto hadn't done well against Bloomington recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Knights put the hurt on the Bruins with a sharp 14-4 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.
The team relied heavily on Desiree Saldate, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. Milenni Rodriguez was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Eisenhower pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Rialto, their win bumped their record up to 3-8.
Rialto's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Eisenhower has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.8 hits per game. It's a different story for Rialto, though, as they've been averaging 9.5 hits. Given Eisenhower's sizable advantage in that area, the Knights will need to find a way to close that gap.
Eisenhower took their victory against Rialto in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 14-6 score. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
