Marissa Joseph and Leah Joseph made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Joseph struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk). Meanwhile, Leah tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Marissa has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. At bat, Joseph went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Leah went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three RBI gave Marissa a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Bailey Forrest, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2025. Adriana Kendrick was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Stanton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Riverside only managed two.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last contest, Menendez made sure to put some runs up on the board against Orange Park on Tuesday. The Falcons put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 11-2 win.
Ava Christman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on six hits and racked up ten Ks. Those ten strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
On the hitting side, Rylan Degrande was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Aubree Green, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Stanton's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Menendez, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
Menendez's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Stanton has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .577. It's a different story for Menendez, though, as they've only averaged .343. Will they be able to contain Stanton's hitters?
