Avier Elvira Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Palmer Ridge was led to victory by Avier Elvira, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Elvira rushed for 219 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (102.3) per game. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.
Palmer Ridge's win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Elvira and Palmer Ridge will host Vista Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Camden Bruns Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Rampart had to settle for second even though Camden Bruns put up the best numbers he has all season. Bruns forced a fumble and made 16 total tackles.
Unfortunately for Vista Ridge, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Bruns. When Bruns last faced the Wolves back in October of 2023, he picked up 0.5 sacks, forced a fumble, and made 11 total tackles (5.0 for loss).

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Jackson Schmadeka stepped things up a notch to give Air Academy the 'W'. Nobody could stop Schmadeka as he rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown.
On the year, Schmadeka has averaged 25.9 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 5.71 receiving yards per game.

Ben Fernengel Goes Supernova in Air Academy Win
