After flying high against the Corning-Painted Post Hawks  last Friday, the Elmira Express came back down to earth. The  matchup between Elmira and Seton Catholic Central wasn't particularly close, with Elmira falling  82-64. The  match was a  30-30 toss-up at halftime, but Elmira couldn't quite close it out.
 Seton Catholic Central got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Drew Erickson out in front who  scored 19 points along with seven  rebounds and six  assists. Another player making a difference was  Allan Eagles, who  scored 16 points along with five  rebounds and four  steals.
 Elmira's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Seton Catholic Central, the  win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 17-2.
 Elmira will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Corning-Painted Post at 7:45  p.m.  on March 1st. Elmira knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight contests -- so hopefully Corning-Painted Post likes a good challenge. Seton Catholic Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
