Softball Recap: Rivercrest Extends Winning Streak to Three

Rivercrest had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Pewitt Brahmas 12-2. Considering the Rebels have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Rivercrest's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Pewitt, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Rivercrest is set to square off against their familiar foe Linden-Kildare at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pewitt will challenge rival Maud at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
