Baseball Recap: Blue Ridge Has No Trouble Against Winslow

Blue Ridge won the last time they faced Winslow and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Yellow Jackets blew past the Bulldogs 11-1. Considering the Yellow Jackets have won ten matches by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Hunter Krause was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one double. That triple was his first of the season.

In other batting news, Karson Rosenthal was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Noah Chee, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Blue Ridge's record is now 14-6. As for Winslow, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17-1.

Blue Ridge has already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Florence on the 24th. As for Winslow, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-0 loss against River Valley on the 23rd.
