The Rhodes Rams will head out on the road to  square off against  the Bard Early College Raptors at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
 Rhodes' recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by John Hay 69-16. Rhodes was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  49-14.
 Despite the  defeat, Rhodes saw an underclassman step up:  Betsaida Byrd  scored ten points.
 Meanwhile, Bard Early College's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against John Hay, falling  70-16. While losing is never fun, Bard Early College can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings  (they are ranked 745th, while John Hay is ranked 362nd).
 Rhodes bumped their record down to 5-5 with that  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's  offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.7 points per game. As for Bard Early College, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
 Rhodes was taken down by Bard Early College 62-20 when the teams last played  back in January of 2022. Can Rhodes avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
