There's no place like home for Ithaca, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers by a score of 4-1 on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Yellowjackets: when they faced off against the Panthers back in April, they had to take a 12-2 loss.

Ithaca's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Collin Thrush, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Ithaca's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-9. As for Nouvel Catholic Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ithaca will challenge rival Carrollton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Nouvel Catholic Central is set to take on their familiar foe Valley Lutheran at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
