The Morristown Central Rockets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 84-42 defeat at the hands of Harrisville. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Morristown Central has scored all season.
Harrisville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Joe Shepherd out in front who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Liam Winters, who scored 13 points.
Morristown Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Harrisville, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morristown Central will take on the Cougars at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harrisville, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Sandstoners at 7:15 p.m. on February 3rd. Hopefully Potsdam focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Thursday.
