With a playoff win on the line, St. Andrew rose to the challenge on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats 63-34. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Zayden Edwards continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, en route to 18 points and three steals. The game was his sixth in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja'Cari Glover, who posted 12 points and eight rebounds.

St. Andrew's smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive contests.

Loss or not, Westminster Schools of Augusta got some senior leadership from Gavin Fox and William Jeffords. Fox had nine points, while Jeffords earned eight points.

St. Andrew's is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points over those games. Westminster Schools of Augusta's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7.

St. Andrew's didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-49 win against Tiftarea Academy on the 22nd. As for Westminster Schools of Augusta, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-42 victory against Terrell Academy on the 19th.
