The Romulus Eagles's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 62-10 win over Redford Union on the road. With Romulus ahead 36-5 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Romulus was led to victory by Samaira Searcy and Karma Jones-Johnson. Searcy dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds, while Jones-Johnson dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten assists. Another player making a difference was Madison Henley, who scored 13 points.
The victory got Romulus back to even at 1-1. As for Redford Union, they bumped their record down to 1-1 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
