Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Grantsville walked away with it. They blew past the Richfield Wildcats 16-10 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Cowboys, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Grantsville has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-12 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Richfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-19.

Grantsville has already played their next contest, a 5-3 loss against Juab on the 14th. Richfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
