Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Erie). They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Meadville Bulldogs 76-74. Winning may never get old, but the Royals sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Loss or not, Meadville got some senior leadership from Lucas Luteran and Jack Burchard. Luteran went 6 of 11 from beyond the arc on his way to 26 points and four steals, while Burchard almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds. Luteran is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Tykie Butler, who went 5 for 11 en route to 13 points.

Erie's record now sits at 7-9. As for Meadville, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.
