Milby had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They put the hurt on the Spring Woods Tigers with a sharp 9-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Buffs, who have now won 15 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Milby's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-7. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Spring Woods, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.
