On Friday Northeast Academy take on Community Christian at 7:00 PM. Northeast Academy are cruising in on a three-game winning streak while Community Christian are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses.
Northeast Academy put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. Everything came up roses for them against Lawrence Academy as the squad secured a 54-0 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-0.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Community Christian lost to Pungo Christian Academy, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 24-64. If Community Christian were hoping to take revenge for the 32-62 defeat against Pungo Christian Academy the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Northeast Academy's victory lifted them to 3-0 while Community Christian's loss dropped them down to 1-3. We'll find out if Northeast Academy can add another positive mark to their record or if Community Christian can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Northeast Academy's step.
