Basketball Game Preview: Delphi Community Oracles vs. Rensselaer Central Bombers

Delphi Community is 0-10 against Rensselaer Central since February of 2017 but things could change on Saturday. The Delphi Community Oracles will look to defend their home court against the Rensselaer Central Bombers at 3:30 p.m. Delphi Community is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.2 points per game this season.

Last Saturday, it was close, but Delphi Community sidestepped Frontier for a 56-54 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Oracles.

Delphi Community got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Xaine Tessier out in front who posted 11 points in addition to five boards and four steals. That's the most points Tessier has posted since back in November of 2024. Kaydn McAtee was another key player, going 7 of 17 en route to 18 points.

Meanwhile, Rensselaer Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 70-47 to Winamac.

Delphi Community has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Rensselaer Central, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.
