The Ralls Jackrabbits will take on the Hale Center Owls at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Ralls' pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They put the hurt on Olton with a sharp 16-0 victory. The Jackrabbits haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Maria Zavala made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March of 2025. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kylee Luna, who fired off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Destiny Garza, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hale Center, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Sudan on Saturday as they made off with a 19-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Owls, who have now won five matchups by 13 runs or more so far this season.
Hale Center let Jocylin Marquez and Sofia Gomez run wild. Marquez went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple, while Gomez went 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one double. Marquez also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Madison Dahl, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs and one RBI.
Ralls' win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Hale Center, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
