The Graham Red Devils lost against the Northwood Chargers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Graham was dealt a 58-17 loss at the hands of Northwood. Graham was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-10.
Northwood got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Neah Henry out in front who scored ten points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Mikaylah Glover, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Graham's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-16. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.3 points per game. As for Northwood, their win bumped their record up to 16-5.
Graham won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Eastern Randolph at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in North Carolina (Eastern Randolph is ranked 453rd, while Graham is ranked 475th). As for Northwood, they will head out on the road to face off against Cummings at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Northwood is facing Cummings at the right time seeing as Cummings is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
