After both having extra time off, the Liberty Christian Academy Knights and the Mullins Marion Christian Cavaliers will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty Christian Academy will be strutting in after a win while Mullins Marion Christian will be coming in after a defeat.
Liberty Christian Academy took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They put the hurt on Columbus Christian Academy with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Pacers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
While Liberty Christian Academy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Columbus Christian Academy scored at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 25-22.

Liberty Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Moriah Gist, who had eight digs and seven aces, and Kelsey Ellington, who had three digs, two aces, and one block. Those seven aces gave Gist a new career-high.
They weren't the only good servers: Liberty Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 24 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in four consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Mullins Marion Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak last Friday. They came up short against Maranatha Christian, falling 3-0.
The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20, 25-18.
Liberty Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Mullins Marion Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
