Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Perkins). They came out on top against the Edison Chargers by a score of 24-21 on Thursday. Perkins always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .611. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Edison only posted an OBP of .457.
Perkins' win bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Edison, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-6.
