Football Recap: Cascade Skates Past Tri-West Hendricks with Ease

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cascade had no problem doing just that on Friday. They breezed past the Tri-West Hendricks Bruins to the tune of 45-14. The result was nothing new for the Cadets, who have now won ten games by 31 points or more so far this season.

Cascade's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lucas Farmer, who rushed for 156 yards and one TD on only 13 carries, and also caught one score. That's the most rushing yards Farmer has posted since back in August of 2024. Dayton Mink was another key rusher, rushing for 158 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Although Tri-West Hendricks took the loss, they still got scores from Jett Lawson and Jax Garver.

Cascade's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-0. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points over those games. As for Tri-West Hendricks, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season.

Cascade will host Guerin Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cadets will need to watch out since the Golden Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests. Tri-West Hendricks does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
