Make it 12 blowout wins for the Greenville H Hurricanes this season. They claimed a resounding 60-13 win over Bob Jones Academy at home. The win was familiar territory for Greenville H who now have nine in a row.
Leading Greenville H to victory were Opal Maralit and Keely Price. Maralit scored 12 points along with eight steals and seven assists, while Price scored 20 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. Maralit is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Lillian Hendley was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Greenville H's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points per game. As for Bob Jones Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenville H will take on Providence Athletic Club at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Providence Athletic Club will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 174th, while Greenville H is ranked 43rd). As for Bob Jones Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Lake Pointe Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
