Bismarck has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Arcadia Valley Tigers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Lesterville scored an imposing 62 points on Tuesday, Bismarck still came out on top. Bismarck took their game against Lesterville 70-62. The win was just what Bismarck needed coming off of a 65-39 loss in their prior game.
Bismarck got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Daven Miller out in front who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. Miller hasn't dropped below two steals for 11 straight games. Another player making a difference was Jordan Ketcherside, who scored 17 points along with five assists and three steals.
Meanwhile, even though Valley scored an imposing 55 points on Thursday, Arcadia Valley still came out on top. Arcadia Valley took down Valley 72-55.
Bismarck's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Arcadia Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season.
Things could have been worse for Bismarck, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 66-50 loss to Arcadia Valley when the teams last played back in January of 2022. Can Bismarck avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
