Calvary Christian found their leader in underclassman Makayla Elizabeth reed, who scored 28 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Elizabeth reed has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Lily Miller, who scored 15 points along with five assists and three steals.
Calvary Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Community Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
Calvary Christian will head out on the road to challenge Community Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Community Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 446th, while Calvary Christian is ranked 214th). As for Community Christian, they will look to defend their home court against Calvary Christian at 5:00 p.m. Hopefully Calvary Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Saturday.
