In what's become a running theme this season, the Cornerstone Christian Academy Bulldogs gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 55-23 victory over Varsity Opponent. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-11.
Cornerstone Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Lily Brothers, who scored 24 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Brothers, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds.
Cornerstone Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Varsity Opponent, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 105-367.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cornerstone Christian Academy will take on Christian Academy of Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will be playing at home against Pleasant View Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pleasant View Christian is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
