The Henry County Patriots lost against the Westview Chargers back in January of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Henry County fell 41-33 to Westview. Henry County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Westview's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mccall Sims led the charge by scoring 16 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Sims has scored at least 25% of Westview's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlee Brent, who scored 10 points.
Henry County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Westview, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Henry County will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Springfield at 6:00 p.m. As for Westview, they will head out on the road to face off against Obion County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Obion County will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
