The Pueblo Warriors and the ALA - Queen Creek Patriots will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pueblo has seven straight wins, ALA - Queen Creek has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
Last Thursday, Pueblo blew past Casa Grande, posting a 75-36 victory. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 25 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pueblo to victory, but perhaps none more so than America Cazares, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine steals. Cazares' evening made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Sara Galindo was another key player, going 8 for 16 on her way to 21 points and four steals.
Pueblo smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 102-6, which was the final score in ALA - Queen Creek's tilt against Mesquite last Monday. The game marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring match so far this season.
They used a three-pronged attack on offense: Grace Cody, Brailyn Clouse, and Tally Call posted two points each.
Pueblo's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.7 points per game. As for ALA - Queen Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Pueblo hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 67.1 points per game. It's a different story for ALA - Queen Creek, though, as they've been averaging only 22.5 points. The only thing between Pueblo and another offensive beatdown is ALA - Queen Creek.
