Juniata Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jack Bryan, who scored 9 points. Bryan scored a full 33.3% of Juniata Christian's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Nathan Wright, who scored 6 points along with 8 rebounds.
Community Baptist Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Juniata Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Community Baptist Christian will take on Bridgeport Baptist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Bridgeport Baptist Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday. As for Juniata Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Immanuel Baptist at 7:15 p.m. Immanuel Baptist comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
