McIntosh is 8-2 against Citronelle since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The McIntosh Demons on the road again and play against the Citronelle Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. McIntosh has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 216 points over their last three matchups.
McIntosh put the finishing touches on their 12th blowout victory of the season on Monday. They really took it to Fruitdale for the full four quarters, racking up a 89-33 victory on the road. McIntosh's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Meanwhile, Citronelle came up short against Faith Academy on Tuesday and fell 55-46.
McIntosh's win bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Citronelle, they dropped their record down to 4-12 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
McIntosh took their victory against Citronelle when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 66-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for McIntosh since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
