The Washington Prexies are taking a road trip to face off against the Jeannette Jayhawks at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Jeannette will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Washington extended their winning streak to six on Monday. Everything went the Prexies' way against California as they made off with a 12-2 win.

Aniya Glendenning made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
In other batting news, Faith Partozoti was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Tateionna Warren, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Washington kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jeannette). They were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over Leechburg on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Jayhawks in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won five in a row.
Like Washington, Jeannette also got a great game from a two-way player: Grace Stein. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). Stein was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three doubles, and one stolen base. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Abby Shaw was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Josie Shaw, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.
Washington's record is now 5-0. As for Jeannette, their record now sits at 4-0.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Washington has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.2 hits per game. However, it's not like Jeannette struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 2.5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Washington couldn't quite get it done against Jeannette in their previous matchup back in April of 2019 as they fell 7-4. Can the Prexies avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
