A Season-Best Performance from Colton Veltkamp Leads South Warren over Bowling Green
On Friday, South Warren got the W thanks in part to Colton Veltkamp playing the best football he has all season. Veltkamp picked up 140 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
The victory was the third in a row for South Warren, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. Veltkamp and South Warren will challenge Ohio County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Bowling Green Gets a Boost from Bailey in 28-24 Defeat
Deuce Bailey put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August on Friday. He threw for 253 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 38 yards. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last seven games he's played.
Unfortunately for South Warren, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Bailey. When Bailey last faced the Spartans back in October of 2023, he threw for 376 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.4% of his passes.

Trevy Barber Makes It Two for Bowling Green
Keeping Bailey company is Trevy Barber, a fellow Bowling Green player. He picked up 130 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
