On Tuesday, everything came up roses for Oxford Prep at home against Excelsior Classical Academy as the squad secured a 54-4 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Oxford Prep.
Oxford Prep's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9. As for Excelsior Classical Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oxford Prep won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Vance Charter at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. Vance Charter will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Excelsior Classical Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Henderson Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Henderson Collegiate comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 12 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
