The Reno Huskies stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They put the hurt on Spanish Springs with a sharp 62-38 win. The victory was nothing new for Reno as they're now sitting on four straight.
Reno got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Noah Hackbusch out in front who scored 13 points along with five assists. Levi Boyd was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Spanish Springs lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Owen Hensley, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Josiah McBride, who scored eight points along with six assists.
Reno's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points per game. As for Spanish Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.
Reno will head out on the road to face off against Douglas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Douglas' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests. As for Spanish Springs, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Carson at 7:00 p.m. Carson is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.
