Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Johnson). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the SA Roosevelt Rough Riders an 18-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Rough Riders recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Johnson's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for SA Roosevelt, they are on a 27-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Looking ahead, Johnson will be playing at home against Reagan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rattlers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Jaguars' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for SA Roosevelt, they will venture away from home to square off against Lee at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
