Softball Recap: Westview Has No Trouble Against Beaverton

Westview had lost three games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 10-13 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 14-8 margin over the Beaverton Beavers. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

As for Beaverton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Beaverton's part, Gracie Burnett was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Westview is set to square off against their familiar foe Sunset at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Beaverton will face off against rival Jesuit at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
