The Ridgeview Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their 13th straight defeat. They were the victim of a rough 69-43 loss at the hands of Wolfson. While losing is never fun, Ridgeview can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 705th, while the Wolfpack are ranked 274th).
Ridgeview's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was T'vario Willis, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Thomas, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Ridgeview dropped their record down to 2-22 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Wolfson, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
Ridgeview will be playing in front of their home fans against the Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Oakleaf is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. Wolfson's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Golden Eagles on February 8th.
