Zaili Benish Game Report: vs Paxton

Zaili Benish, Leyton's leading scorer, solidified her role on Thursday. Benish wasn't messing around, going 9 of 12 from beyond the arc en route to 35 points along with eight assists and five steals. The matchup was her 20th straight with 15 or morepoints dating back to last season. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Leyton's points.

Benish and Leyton will venture away from home to challenge Hay Springs on Saturday. Benish hasn't had any trouble running up the score (she's averaged 31 per game this season), but it's looking like she'll have her work cut out for her against the Hawks' dominant defense.
