He is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.
In other batting news, Carter Blankenship was a standout: he fired off four runs, three doubles, and three RBI while going 4-for-5. He has been hot recently, having also posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Bryce Smith, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, five runs, and one double.

Meanwhile, Kenton Ridge was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over Centerville. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Wednesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Belmont hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .429. However, it's not like Kenton Ridge struggles in that department as they've averaged .344. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
